Waltzing in Perdition? What’s that about?
Believe it or not it came out of an argument I was having with my wife over the title of my first book (A Beautiful Hell). I was going to name the blog that, but Cute Redhead was barely holding it together with the idea that I titled a book in a way that (she thought) makes the rest of the world think being married to her has been Hell (it hasn’t been). It has, at times, been close. And, trust me, she’ll tell you the novelty of me wore off a looOOOoong time ago too. So I landed on Waltzing in Perdition because I really do think that, though it can be hell, learning to Dance together in spite of it brings some of the best stuff Life has to offer.
Who designed the site?
I did! I studied a few sites whose design I was really impressed with and built upon a graphic style of my own in Photoshop. The couple waltzing in the midst of the fire? (I know it looks more like a tango, but even that takes two, so there you go) Well, that’s me and my wife!
And all the photography?
Me again, but don’t get me started. Up till now I’ve been using a very wanting 7 Megapixel camera. Not bad, I know, but as of February 1, 2010, I’m looking forward to shooting with the Canon Rebel EOS XSi.
Wait…you’re a cartoonist?!
Yep. All the cartoons are mine and most of them were drawn over the last twenty years. I haven’t done any real hardcore cartooning in too long, so I’m looking forward to bringing new stuff to Walzting in Perdition.
What’s with the Contests & Giveaways?
That’s just plain fun! I’m planning on having more and more, and hopefully make it a weekly thing. We’ll start out small, and as a growing audience gets into it, will make the prizes bigger and better. More details on all that soon!
Okay, I’m a newbie here…so what should I read to get a sense of WIP?
Well, honestly, the blog is a spin-off on the book. You read that, you get a good sense of where I’m at and where this thing’s headed loll. About once every other week or so, I’m posting a chapter from A Beautiful Hell. For now, though, here are a few good ones, I think:

Actually, I’d love to! It sort of needs to fit in the with theme of the site, but let’s discuss and see what we can do. You have to know, too, that I’d always mention the fact that something has been given to me for a review. I can’t give a 100% guarantee that I’ll write about it…but chances are pretty high!
Can I advertise on WIP?

Will you reply to emails and comments?
Absolutely. Unless I get taken out by a meteor, answering emails and replying to comments is something I really enjoy.
